Save your ten bucks.I bought several of these when they were on sale two years ago. Put them in the basement and never used them. When it came time the net I had wore out I went to get one of these and it just fell apart. Grabbed another one and it was the same way. Not the frame it's still good. The netting material had deteriorated to the point it just crumbled. I bought a quality net now and regret purchasing these. Luckily, it was only 20 bucks or so.

New net!I got this net for my father-in-law, since his old net finally tore.
I chose this net to get for him for several reasons:
-Price, of course was an important factor, you sure get your bang for your money.
-Size of the handle, he can use it from his boat and from a bank or a pier, and I guess also from his canoe, but one with a smaller handle will probably be better for that.
-New material, the dipped nylon seems like a great option so far, not only because the hooks won't get their barbs tangles in the threads, but it is resistant, I pulled on it quite hard and it held.
-And last, and I didn't come to see this until we used it to net a fish, the flat bottom prevents the fish tangling itself, like it did in his old style net.
So far, we used it to net a 2lb catfish, and it had plenty of room and it was easier to get out of the net than from his old net (which tore wile taking out a 3lb catfish).
