Not a good reelThe first time I used this reel it got all tangled up and I spend the next 20 minutes trying to fix the reel.

First rod I bought for myselfMy son was really interested in fishing, so I wanted to get a rod for myself (he already had one) and get out and do some fishing together. Got this combo on sale and we go fishing nearly every weekend now. The medium is tough enough to cast out a decent slip float rig on 8 lb line and we've caught a few rainbows in the local stocked lakes. For the price it did its job by getting us both really hooked on fishing together, and when this one craps out I'll probably move up to a better combo.

Good pole for the price.I like this pole so far... Great price. It works really good when you are working with some lures. Its a little stiff toward the handle , but a lot more flex at the tip. Now I spent less on a pole ,means more lures for the tackle box.

For the 6' and 6'6" rods and reels what is the max line capacity for 10 and 12 pound monofilament

The recommended line capacity for the 6' Medium Combo is 10 pound test at 100 yards and the 6'6" Medium Combo is 10 pound test at 150 yards.
