Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier 2 Limited Edition Baitcast Reel
Not only is this the lightest and slimmest version of our popular Bass Pro Shops® Pro Qualifier® Baitcast Reel ever, it's also the best looking! With its sleek design, this Limited Edition is bound to turn heads both at the ramp and onstage. You'll love the way it balances perfectly on a premium bass rod and is a joy to palm—yet all aspects of its performance, the features serious bassers love most, remain intact. As always, we build the Pro Qualifier to fit the way tournament anglers fish. From its 1-piece machined-aluminum frame and double-anodized, machined-aluminum drilled spool, to its Recurve handle and drag star, the design is sleek, light and functional. And every feature is geared for performance, including the quality 7-bearing system with Powerlock™ instant anti-reverse; our Dual Braking System™, with click-adjustable magnetic and 6-pin centrifugal cast control systems working in concert; the hard titanium-coated line guide. You'll like the pin-release side plate for quick brake adjustments on the fly, the satisfying feel of the Soft Touch thumb bar, the built-in lube port for those pre-tourney touch-ups. Received reel in used condition, warehouse needsLast week I purchased 6 of these reels from Bass Pro Shops in new condition, wrapped in plastic bag and new boxing. (Now Out of Stock). So I purchased 4 of these same reels from Cabela's and received them in the mail yesterday 11/6/19 and I was surprised after I opened the shipping container, 2 of the reel boxes were damaged badly, all 4 reels did not have plastic bags protecting them and then one reel was in used condition with scratches and old fishing line installed. Now I have return this used reel and wait 2 to 3 weeks for a replacement.

Great Reel for the PriceSimply outstanding reel. Cannot be beat for the cost. Matched it with a St Croix and would put it against a reel hundreds dollars more.

How do you get the side plate off to adjust the brakes
Asked by: Anonymous
Looking at the reel from the front, there is a spring loaded pin located at the top left side; use your thumb to pull this pin out and this will allow the side plate on the right side to be rotated up and off. Great question!

Can this be used in saltwater?
Asked by: Esoxblack
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. This reel isn't designed for saltwater fishing but with the proper precautions you can still use it that way. You will, however, want to make sure you rinse it thoroughly with freshwater after each time you use it. Because of the nature of salt air this reel will eventually corrode, but rinsing it like that will help prolong its life.
