Not Great, Not BadBought one couple of years ago. Don't need much for a 14' aluminum in very quiet, lightly used waters. Just getting boat in the water and the light didn't work. 1 battery leaked over winter. Time to buy another one.

MehNice light but poor construction. Plastic breaks easily. I had to take it off the clamp and glue it on the otherside of it so it can be seen properly.

Not very goodThe flimsy clamp is useless. I cut it off and mounted it to a homemade bracket with a screw. It is solid now and worked OK for the first summer, but the battery terminals all rusted and no amount of cleaning with needle files can get it working again. Poor quality electrical connections for a marine application. I wish the battery cartridge was available as a maintenance part. I'm still looking for a better quality battery operated LED nav light for my small boat.

poor design and materialsScrew that holds the light to the mounting bracket is very coarse threaded. That stripped through the thin plastic base quickly. There is nothing that prevents the light from spinning about. Poor design, poor materials. In that my life depends on being seen on the water at night, this product is not able to assure that.

GREAT!Bought for my aluminum boat. Works great except you may have to tap it to get the connection to work. Will run forever on the 3 AAA batteries. Would suggest using the electric lights if you have a 12 volt battery. Makes it easier being permanent on the boat now that I have it refurbished.
