Master Maine guideSeats are basic seating for any work-type boat. Nothing fancy. Fairly comfortable. Low back. Hopefully, these seats stand up to Maine's harsh weather conditions.

OK not greatSeat is comfortable enough and fairly solid. Only problem I had was with the mounting screws for the base, they started stripping out first time I used the seats. I changed them out for 14x1 metal screws and they are holding so far. For the money I think there are better seats,

Excellent SeatsI purchase these seats as a replacement for my Panfish Xpress boat. Seats were simple to install and are as comfortable as more expensive seats. The low back gives me great lower back support and helps keep my upper back cool. Staying cool is important fishing in Arkansas.
What is best hardware to use to keep from stripping out screw holes when mounting
Asked by: Cj57
14x1 metal screws seem to work well. Thank you for asking.

Is this seat compatible to mount on a sea lux universal swivel base?

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. This seat has a standard bolt pattern on the bottom and should work for you.

Understand it's been covered. How are these seats attached? Do they swivel and detach, if not what is my least expensive add to make them swivel?
Asked by: jeffish
Thank you for your question. You can use the Boat Seat Swivel. The SKU number is 1852130.The hole pattern fits most boat seats and is 6" square.

Hello
Can this seat be mounted on the pin connector that secure the seat to the bench? Drilling through plastic and securing pin/plate?

Does this seat fit standard size canoe's?
Asked by: alkskdjgh
If your canoe has bench seats now......yes.
You will also need a swivel base to attach to the bench seats and the seat itself.
Use through bolting to the underside of the bench seats with a "fender" style washer on the underside.
Wood style screws will pull out eventually.
Stainless hardware recommended
