Great Deal Great LightsThese things are great! We started out using those old Flexible LED strip lights on our sweetwater pontoon boat. It lasted for about a year and a half and then started to have bulbs burnt out and corrosion from saltwater. It was going to be a lot of work and pretty expensive to replace for only having the lights for about 18 months. We decided to try this style of light instead after seeing they have sealed construction and the price. They come with adhesive tape and screws so we just cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and stuck the lights on. This made putting the screws in super easy. Pulled the wires through and hooked them to the harness and 2 wires to the switch. I was skeptical, but they look great and are holding up way better than the old stuff. The boat is in saltwater and gets a lot of water sprayed up and have had to problems. I would recommend these to anyone who is thinking about putting lights on their boat.

I have installed the lights on my pontoon and noticed these lights didn’t come with a toggle switch. Was they supposed to?

Can you use only one 24’ strand or do you have to use both strands making it 48 foot? I have 2 12 ft kayaks and was thinking just the one strand who work for each?

Bought this lighting kit and all connectors are the same they will not connect to the y cable.

Can these lights be cut for shorter boat?

Instructions call for a switch and a fuse (not included) but I can not find information on how many amps the lights draw so I can select a fuse.
