Solved the problem.Nothing seemed to be working when I would sit down on the deck of my boat.
I couldn't get seated right. The angle was all wrong so I had to try something different.
The Bass Pro Offset Post was an answer to my prayers. It works great for me.
And it was easy to install.

Works for meI have a 2017 Triton 18TX aluminum bass boat. I ordered it with the 3 across seat mounts in front so I could spider rig with my partner for crappie on Truman Lake. I'm not a small guy. These pedestals set the seats back enough to give us a bit of leg room to clear the rod holders, Garmin locator, trolling motor, minner cooler, etc.
I have seen reviews wanting to know if these work in the mounts that are threaded. Yep. Work fine. They are Springfield pedestals with a Bass Pro label.

greati really enjoy this offset seat post, It allows me to extend my legs to better operate the trolling motor, and i can shift around to balance boat better when person in back moves to the side of the boat.
another plus is if you bend over to retrieve something from floor or water seat moves out of the way instead of putting you overboard.

Works wellIf you fish from a seating position like me This makes a small deck feel larger and let's you move around and reach equipment while seated. Not all of us can stand all day like the pros and when you get older your balance is not as good and sitting is better than falling in the river.

More leg roomI bought this offset seat post for the seat on the casting deck of my fish & ski boat. I am a bass fisherman and the straight post on my boat was a little close to the bow. This sets me back an extra 5" and gives me ample room to sit and run the trolling motor. The post looks great and does everything I wanted it to do and the price was right.

Can you use the offset post with an offset base to give addition room, or will the additional stress break the post or mount. Also what is the max weight limit for this product?
Asked by: cjpeer
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. Using an offset post with an offset base has not been stress tested. The maximum weight of the offset post on a standard base is 225 lbs.
