Weak dragAll reviews that mention the weak drag are 100% true. Lost some big fish because i couldn't get a solid hook set without the drag letting out line. Great casting reel. They need to add another disk for the drag. I really wanted to like it.

Acceptional for the priceThe reel does what I want it to do as I did not expect a quality product for the price I paid. I bought it for the clicker option and it does what it is supposed to do.

Good ReelI have had the larger version for about 8yrs now and it has handled a lot of good fish in both fresh and saltwater. Worth the $40 price tag. Not abu quality but lots of reel for the money.

Save your moneyI got this reel to do a little fishing while on vacation. It has the worst drag I’ve ever seen couldn’t even set the hook with out drag going out. I would recommend a 3 foot kid pole before I would ever recommend this.

Nice reel, BUTThis reel has not seen that much action but the pawl has already worn out. Always kept clean and lubed but it wore out. I have old reels that have lasted ten times longer than these. I will order Chinese reels before I will buy one of these again, at least you get your moneys worth from them.

Reel DragI drove an hour to the Bass Pro, purchased this, took it home and spooled it up. The tension worked fine and the cast was fine but I had trouble reeling in the 1 oz weight. I tried to set the drag with a 2 lb weight and it wouldn't lift it with the drag all the way tight. I drove back the next day and got an Abu Garcia C3. You get what you pay for and apparently $40 gets you a reel drag.

Awesome price, verry good performanceI bought this reel 2 years ago and mated it to my kat king pole from here. I've consistenty pulled 10-20lb striper out of the Sacramento. Last year i even yanked a 40lb striper and a 56lb sturgeon on the rig. Yes the drag is weak but what do you want for less that $50? This reel/pole combo has literally pulled hundreds of pounds from the sac river. I can't speak to the clicker issue. My girlfriend has the same reel and it has also worked quite well for her. I highly recommend this reel if you want a solid and economical work horse pulling in those meals from the water.

Great reel for the priceI bought one of the MCM 2000 about 10 years ago and had no problems to this day.Caught numerous catfish, carp and large turtles with no problems. My biggest catfish on this reel was 49.8 pound flathead and still works like new so I bought another about 3 months ago and will buy another one soon.
Do you have a diagram that shows how the reel goes back together or a video
