Great for compartment lights on bass boats! These lights are a great addition to any compartment where you need light. I put one in the rod locker and one in each gear compartment and am very pleased with them. Super easy to install (I used 2-sided tape on the battery case instead of the screw mounts) and the LEDs provide long battery life - 2 years so far on 3 AAs.

Very bright!I bought this for my bass cat cougar main storage compartment. It far exceeded my expectations in terms of brightness and ease of installation and use. I didn't wanna drill through all over my 20.3 ft boat for the bluewater kit (although very bright and nice). This is a very nice kit, especially for the price. I bought two more to add to my rod lockers and plan on adding one under each of the consoles. Highly recommended!!

Awesome Lights For Any BoatThis was the exact product I had been looking for. I fish from an Ascend fs12t, and I am rigging it up for night time fishing. I needed to make sure that I was visible all the time. So, I had already installed my YakAttack bow light, but I was looking for some LED lights for the inside of my kayak, and potentially the outside. I wanted something that did not require wiring up a big, bulky 12v battery. Upon stopping by my local Bass Pro Shops, in Kodak, TN, which I worked at for a year, I found exactly what I was looking for. With these being powered by 3 AA's, it cuts down on price. No bigger, expensive battery and no difficult wiring. I can buy value packs of Duracell AA's and be set for the year. It sticks on with just a 3M adhesive. Put this on during a hot, sunny day, and it will stay on no problem, and the same can be said for the power source, which is also the switch for turning on the lights. I will definitely be purchasing about 3-5 more within the next year to both light up the outside, as well as finish lighting up the inside of my kayak. I'd also recommend these for Nitro Bass Boats as well.
Can these be cut to shorten it doesnt say so im assuming you cant but not sure? Thanks

Could I splice into battery pack to add additional length to the light strip?
Asked by: Jk21
Per the Manufacturer - We don’t suggest adding more length to the actual flex strip due to the difference in voltage, but you can add more length to the wire itself.
However, it is suggested that you be proficient in wiring and have a base understanding of electronics when attempting to make such modifications
