Our Johnny Morris Signature Series Bass Caster Reel is bulletproof, inside and out. A tough, die-cast aluminum frame and sideplates is complemented with a double-anodized-aluminum spool that floats on premium stainless steel ball bearings, part of a 100% double-shielded 10-bearing system that includes Powerlock™ instant anti-reverse. A hardened Duralumin drive gear is flanked by 3 carbon washers to ensure perfect meshing for totally smooth winding power with no torque. Our Dual Braking System delivers virtually backlash-free casting. Other features include: a beefed-up, super-smooth carbon drag system; lightweight carbon fiber Recurve handle with ribbed silicone knob; padded clutch bar; and titanium-nitride line guide.
The Johnny Morris Signature Series Trigger Rod is built with Carbon Coil Technology, an advanced construction process using a double-helix configuration of materials. For professional-grade performance, we combine this technology with RT5 Graphite to achieve the ultimate in weight reduction while enhancing rod strength and sensitivity. Our Line ID system allows anglers to keep track of and easily identify line weight on each rod and reel setup. Premium grade cork assures a comfortable grip and Fuji® KR Concept guides enhance sensitivity and improve casting distance. And finally, our exclusive skeletonized reel seats not only reduce weight but also improve sensitivity by maximizing blank exposure.
