Super-strong composite side covers are teamed with a 1-piece, machined, aircraft-grade aluminum frame and a carbon fiber Recurve handle with comfortable EVA handle grips. A machined Duralumin spool is V-grooved and ported. CarbonLite baitcasting reels use 9 stainless steel, double-shielded ball bearings, plus a Powerlock™ anti-reverse bearing. Duralumin gears and shaft are constructed of a specially hardened aluminum that provides superior strength and durability. A powerful 6-disc drag system will slow even a monster bass. The titanium nitride-coated line guide virtually eliminates friction, and our time-tested Dual Braking System™ combines a centrifugal brake and a magnetic brake for truly outstanding performance on every cast.
