Best Rod Yet!I bought this rod expecting a mediocre rod... I got the best rod I've had yet! Great fast action very sensitive allowing you to feel every little tick of a fish biting. Great rod overall.

Great rod, well madeBought the rod Tuesday, caught 7 bass on it Thursday. The rod is the 6'6" MH version, and my sole purpose for this rod is fishing worms and senkos. It performed great and I am quite happy with it. It has a Lew's American low profile baitcast reel on it, and the balance and castability of that setup is very good. I would recommend this combo to anyone!

A Real Winner!I have been a fan of Carbonlite rods for so many years, and this new version is a total WOW!! The smoky look and the see through reel seat are something you don't find on any rods in the market today. The grip is super comfortable and the new blue FUJI tangle free guides fished great. This rod easily is best value rod that I've ever fished with. Kudos to Bass Pro team!

Carbonlite 2.0 updateMy 6' 6" medium power rod w/Carbonlite 2.0 reel surprised me today on how far it sends a 1/4oz. crankbait, and the feel of that bait on the retrieve is amazing.

Outstanding RodI've got several of the older Carbonlite rods. The 2.0 has hit it out of the park! I have two 7ft rods one in Med-Heavy Fast and one Medium Moderate. The med-mod action is excellent for crankbaits. I was using a Red Eye Shad 1/4oz last week and caught 10 bass in the 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 pound range and never lost a fish. The new handle grips are awesome. Thanks BPS for a real winner!

Carbonlite 2.0I now have 2 of these rods combo'd up with Carbonlite 2.0 reels, let me tell you they are a dream to cast. Nice and light, sensitive enough to feel a light strike, but the backbone to haul in the big ones. I really like the Fuji semi micro guides, they make casting smooth and effortless. Looking to add a 7ft MH for pitching jigs and a 7ft M moderate action for tossing crankbaits to my arsenal

Amazing rodI’ve been buying the carbon lite since the older one before this and it has been my go to rod for everything I now have 4 of them all 7 foot 3 medium heavy and 1 medium. I have mine paired with Shimano Curado’s 200 and shimano Casitas also one spinning reel the carbonlite 2.0 (combo). Love my setups and will continue to fish them for as long as I have them! Can’t go wrong with the gear guard as well I mean a new rod every two years or if you break it come get a new one amazing program.
Would this rod be good for small small square bill crank baits
Asked by: Geirgetown
Thank you for your inquiry! Many of our customers have used this successfully with 1/4 oz crankbaits.

Thanks for your inquiry. Most of the 7' rods are a one piece rod. The only one that is 2 pieces is SKU 2455106.

Is this the one with 10 eye lets? I bought this last year and really loved the rod, but it snapped on me casting after my 3rd day of a week trip up in Canada. Is there any warranty on this as I would like to replace it with the same one. Thanks

What’s the dial on bottom of reel for?
Asked by: Charlie schulz
Thanks for your question! The dial at the base of the rod is the line ID system built into the rod butt. This helps when you have multiple rods that have different lb test lines on them to note which line is on which rod.

What is the switch on the base do
Asked by: Jamescrocker
Thank you for your inquiry. That is a fishing line ID indicator. You set it to display what pound test of line you are using.

what are the numbers for on the very bottom of the pole, I think it is just to remind you of what pound test is on it but idk.
Asked by: Little_Scaggs
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, that is correct. It is a fishing line ID system.

Dont know what action to get want to be able to throw finese baits with light tip yet handle crankbaits spinnerbaits etc well was thinking 7' med light?
Asked by: 90Null
From the research i have done most finesse tactics should be thrown with a spinning rod. Though i only use baitcasters at the moment. Considering this i came to the same conclusion and picked a medium size rod. I did so because i wanted a rod with enough back bone for easy hook sets with my soft plastics. I also did this so that i may have a little more stout of a rod just in case i have to rip through heavy cover with a crainkbait or lipless. Though it has more backbone for hook sets and heavy cover situations, the medium will also give you some good sensitivity for finesse fishing. I am still learning myself but i hope this helps.
