Bass Pro Shops Flashy Times Spoon 7/16 oz.
It took 2 full years of testing and refining, but our lure development staff was finally satisfied. This premium chrome-plated solid brass spoon, now known as our Bass Pro Shops® Flashy Times® Spoon, is the result of our experts' quest to create a spoon with optimized performance, especially in cold water. Frigid water is the ultimate challenge for spoon action, because fish metabolism is at its lowest and spoons by nature are quick and lively. However, it's pretty clear that we nailed this one. On a slow retrieve, the Flashy Times' wide wobble positively mesmerizes trout, salmon, walleye, pike, and musky, to the point where even neutral fish will give chase, maybe bump it a few times, and finally strike. On a quick retrieve, the action is much more erratic, pumping out the kind of flash, movement, and vibration that brings crushing strikes. The same principles apply for trolling. But whether you fish this spoon in summer, winter, or any other time of year, we think you'll agree--the Bass Pro Shops Flashy Times is the real deal! Premium bronze treble hook; extra-durable glow paint. Note: The length given in the chart refers to the spoon body only.

Cheap FinishI purchased a few of these in the half ounce size, and found the casting to be great and the action on them looks good. The problem is that the colors that are painted lose their finishes the first day of use! I was so surprised I put another on, just to be sure, because BPS products have always been great for me. Sure enough, within an hour of using the glow white with orange spots, the paint began to milk away. If you buy these, be sure to get the anodized and/or nickle and chrome finishes.

Great CastBy far this is the smoothest and farthest cast I had in a Lure.
