Had The Original XPS Version For 6+ YearsI got the original version as a gift and used it for a long time for hiking, biking and general traveling. It finally gave up on me last week in Manhattan with the bottom splitting open likely due to the book I had in there along with two full water bottles. I would only add some kind of center divider between the large and small pouch. That area could then be used more effectively to carry extra water bottles.

Could'nt even use once. The design quality is so bad, that the clips meant to secure this bag to your body are easily removable. I was trying to adjust the height of them when one just popped off, its next to imossible to put back on.

Poor quality bladderI bought this pack for my wife and she used it for the first time this past weekend. The pack itself seems to be fine but the bladder is poor quality. The lid is hard to screw on correctly and I had to try about five times before I finally got a good seal on the lid. Definitely flip it upside down and test it before you assume it's tight. I have an Osprey Hydraulics bladder for my pack and the difference in quality is night and day. I should have just splurged and bought something better quality. I will probably keep the pack but order an Osprey or Camelbak bladder for it. If you only want to use this for hiking once or twice a year it might be fine to put up with the shortcomings but if you plan to put in a lot of miles do yourself a favor and splurge on the good quality gear.

Practical in size and pocketsI bought this to hike in Maui. I didn't want a bag heavy with water - just something refreshing. This was perfect. It held my friends' wallets so we could jump down a waterfall and hike back up to our water-backpack. It's size and features are basically ideal for the weekend vacationer. No it's not heavy duty, but that's why I like it.
First time user of a hydration pack. Looking for tips or tricks to dry out the reservoir after use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The best way is to use a reservoir dryer. https://www.cabelas.com/product/CAMELBAK-PRODUCTS-ACC-RESERVOIR-DRYER/2456769.uts?slotId=8
You can also use a wire coat hanger to prop open the mouth to allow it to dry.
What several people do is stuff my hose down in the hole and let it sit in my dish rack until it is dry.

We filled it and can't get it to work. No water is coming down the tube. Help!

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. There is a fully cleanable anti-backwash bite valve at the end of the tubing that you bite gently to open the tubing and drink the water as if through a straw.
