ComfortableWould not classified as a 4 rated. Used it on a hammock at 40° and was cold. Needed an extra layer on top of it for insulation. Otherwise a good product so far.

Worked GreatI purchased this item before the initial bad review came out. I was extremely skeptical after that but this sleeping pad worked fantastic on my backcountry archery elk hunt in Colorado. I slept on it for 6 nights and had zero issues. Its extremely comfortable and provides great insulation between yourself and the ground. Night temperatures were mostly in the mid 30's so it wasn't significantly cold but I feel it would still work great in colder temperatures. The pad is made of quality material and hopefully will be just as durable.

First use failureI purchased this sleeping pad for several reasons for my back-packing and hunting/fishing trips. The product depth is thicker than others, higher R value, light-weight and compact design and ultimately a reasonable price. Well you get what you pay, and this was all too good to be true. I did a pre inflate test prior to my 2 day back-packing trip in the comfort of my home and didn't observe any failures. First night sleeping on the trail, I awoke to laying on the ground on top of a deflated sleeping pad. I thought "maybe I didn't get the valve tightened..." Nope, the one thing this product was made for FAILED. It has a slow leak that takes a perfect 2 hrs to deflate, just long enough to allow you to fall asleep, but certainly not long enough to be considered restful. Save yourself from a miserable/frustrating experience on the trail and look elsewhere for a sleeping pad. Definitely will be returning this product to Cabela's.
