Good ShoesI've only had these a few months now but I know about them now and I bought them because they looked good. I ordered a size 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and that was smart. They run a little narrow so it's a tight fit until they are broke in, now they are very comfortable. The footbed is probably OK for most people but I had to replace the footbed with my 'Power Step' insoles because of the high arch I need. They are a little warm for summer wear but acceptable. The last straw was hard for me to deal with but struggled through it and that's where they were made. Made IN Viet Nam and that really bothers me quite a bit. I kept them and just moved on and you will have to deal with that.

No comfortEasily the most painful pair of shoes I ever purchased. They punish my feet.

Best Waterproof Hiking Shoes out thereMy parents gifted me these for Christmas, I've worn them everytime I go fishing, and they are truly waterproof and dry quickly! I wasn't expecting much when I read "waterproof" since many other shoes say to be but water gets in either way, BUT these stick to their word! If you're looking for waterproof hiking shoes these are the ones!!

They're OkayI normally don't leave reviews, nor do I buy hiking shoes/boots. But since I believe this will be an ongoing hunt for a good hiking shoe/boot, I hope my review might help someone else before they purchase this.
With winter coming up, I wanted a hiking shoe so I can take my dog on the nature trails, and not need to worry about mud/water ruining my good tennis shoes. I was comparing all the $100 price range hiking shoes (while in store). I was trying to go for looks, and style. I noticed the look were all similar. So I quickly got over that. I tried this shoe, as well as the other comparable model that goes for $99. Difference between the two were color, and height of shoe. But I found the lower cut shoe was more comfortable. I was hoping for more ankle support, but decided to go with the low cut.
I have worn these shoes out a couple times, on flat ground, as well as the park hiking trails. The inside of the shoe is rather comfortable, but the souls of the shoes, that's a different story.
The souls are very hard. Very hard. They are quite loud to walk in. And there is definitely no give or spring in my step.
Other than the souls being hard and not as comfortable as I'd like, the shoe is very well made. It definitely keeps the water out and my feet remain dry. The waterprrof feature gets 5 stars.
