Not worthyThe straps are uncomfortable and always get twisted . Bought it to throw stuff in while on vacation and going o the beach .
It works but certainly would'nt use it for even short hikes .

I've bought 2.I love my Ascend Dash 720 so much I bought one for my wife. It's a nice little bag for going anywhere for a day.Waterparks, lakes ,short trails etc.. I've had mine for about 2 years and it has held up great, even when I'm using my water bladder. (sold seperatly)

good for a quick hikeIt is stylish? and fairly rugged. Great to store a few essentials for short excursions on foot , bike or whatever. Very comfortable to wear. One minor drawback that kept me from giving it 5 stars, not enough pockets. Well worth the money.

You can't beat it dollar for dollar.I bought one of these and when my wife saw it she liked how lightweight it was and the way it looked... so I bought her one.
We like to go on little hikes and once we got out in the woods with these we were both very pleased. They are lightweight but hold enough of anything you need short of a MAJOR emergency. They would get 5 stars if they just had a top flap. Again... even at full price of 24.99 or whatever it is, you can't beat them for twice the money!

Great pack!I purchased two of these two years ago and have used them quite a few times for day trips to theme parks, museums, and hiking in national parks. We have used them on fishing trips as well. They are lightweight, hold fleece and rain jackets with snacks and drinks and even the occasional souvenirs. They easily fold and are packable. We put one in the other so when we need extra capacity, we pull it out and fill it. Very comfortable on the back and shoulders. Cabela's/BP have a fantastic deal on a great little pack.

great for the priceThe only reason I got this pack was because they had a sale on it. Price was 15 bucks and I figured id try it out. I was skeptical of how comfortable it would be with how small and thin the straps were but I have not found a problem with them. I hiked around keywest with it filled with a full 1L nalgene, and rain gear and was comfortable all day long. Its light enough that I can throw it in my pack on an extended hike yet still carry everything i need for a day hike. One thing i will say about the design is that it stays far from your back, which is fine if your just walking and stuff. But when I go mountain biking, my portable speaker, leatherman, bike tool, etc would swing it around on my back (especially if going over jumps and drop offs). All in all i think its a great pack for the money and would recommend it to anyone.
I can't seem to find the manufacturer company online for this backpack. Do you have an email or support number for Ascend? I am trying to figure out what the 3 layer strips section is for near the buckle on the back. It sticks out for some reason.

It says hydration compatible but does not give dimensions or how big of a bladder it can hold. Does this bag even have a bladder compartment?
