Slipping Anti reverseI bought a total of 3 Revo SX. They all have the same slipping anti reverse after one year! Tried to clean and re-lube the bearing and still the same. When it works, they are great but to be honest, they are the worst reel ever!!!!!!!!!

Daily fisherWe live on a 3 acre lake and fish daily between May and October. I recommend this to anyone fishing bass, bluegill, and crappie. I love this reel. It is incredibly smooth. I fished with another expensive brand during the past year until I finally threw it away. I bought the Revo SX instead and in roughly 6 weeks I haven't had a single problem, line tangle, etc. It feeds line off and on perfectly. I use 10lb braid with crankbait, texas rigs, and jigs.

Anti Reverse IssuesReel is really nice...light...smooth....casts well. But has one major flaw. If you have the anti reverse lever engaged and set the hook the anti reverse will disengage for a second or two and then re engage. I've missed several fish and had a couple birds nests because of it. No idea why its happening but its occurred to several of these reels I've had. Other than that I'm really happy with this product.

Bad ReelI bought this reel ignoring the anti reverse warnings. Showed up and bam no anti reverse at all. Bass Pro did me well with returning it. I’ll stick with the Stradic CI4.

So far so good.I’ve been practicing in the back yard casting 1/8 weights on my ultra light. It’s definitely my smoothest reel. I can’t wait to take it out on the lake.
When the description states braided line capacity Of 14/230 is that 14lb line or 14lb Diameter line

Yes, you can use the Abu Garcia Revo SX Spinning Reel for panfish and crappie. I would stay in sizes 10, 20, and even 30, SKU's 2244571, 2244572, and 2244573, respectively.
