Great shoe for narrow feetI have narrow feet, so it's difficult to find shoes that fit properly. I've struggled trying to find newer NF shoes that fit me. I had to buy a different brand of trail shoes and boots recently. I went through a size 9.5 and 9 of the Ultra Vertcal but they just didn't fit well. The toe box was too wide and I was getting a lot of extra material bunching up. I took a chance on a size 9 in the Ultra Endurance II and the shoe fits like a glove. I've spent several days in these now and took them out to break them in yesterday. The materials seem more durable than the Vertical. The traction was great and they seem very responsive. The snake plate felt like it did a good job of keeping rocks from causing any pain. The down sides are the tongue and laces. The padding in the tongue is thin, and the laces aren't flat (they're twisted like a Twizzlers). I found that if I tie the shoes as tight as I normally would these 2 issues lead to irritation on the top of the foot where the laces get tied. However, I didn't notice a difference in performance with the laces looser than my normal. I'm happy with the Ultra Endurance II so far.
