The Taurus® 44 Tracker® is a medium/heavy-frame, double-action revolver designed for ease of portability. The cylinder holds 5 rounds of .44 magnum or .44 Special ammunition. To tame recoil from magnum cartridges, the 44 Tracker comes with a factory ported barrel and a shock-absorbing, ribbed, rubber grip. All-steel construction with a blued finish holds up to hard use. Fully adjustable sights allow you to dial in a variety of loads with precision accuracy. The 44 Tracker Double-Action Revolver utilizes the Taurus Security System® (TSS), enabling you to disable the weapon completely with the turn of a key. A transfer bar mechanism prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled fully to the rear.
