Ruger 10/22 Carbine Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle with Synthetic Stock
The Ruger® 10/22® is one of the most popular, and widely used Rimfire Rifles in the US. And justifiably so—the 10/22 has had a solid reputation for reliability and accuracy for over 50 years, making it a favorite for target shooting, plinking, and small game hunting. This 10/22 Carbine features a rugged, single-piece synthetic stock that is impervious to harsh weather. The stock has textured surfaces on the pistol grip and fore-end to provide a solid hold in harsh weather—ideally suited for rugged outdoor use and survival situations. The barrel is blued black, and the receiver finished in satin black. The 10/22 utilizes a blowback semi-auto action, and a 10-shot rotary magazine, both of which are legendary for reliability. The hammer-forged barrel locks into the receiver by a unique 2-screw, V-block system that provides unsurpassed accuracy for mass-produced rimfire rifles. The Carbine model comes with a fine, gold bead front sight dovetailed into a barrel band, and an adjustable, folding rear sight. The included scope base screws onto the drilled and tapped receiver, and is compatible with both Weaver®-style and 3/8" tip-off scope rings. An extended magazine release allows for rapid reloading. The short and light 10/22 Carbine handles incredibly well by adult and youth shooters alike. The popularity of the Ruger 10/22 has led to a myriad of after-market 10/22 accessories, making it one of the most customizable firearms ever made. The Ruger 10/22 Carbine with synthetic stock is an indispensible, go-to firearm for any American serious about preparedness, self-defense, or hunting. Made in USA.

Perfect gunHave owned this for nearly 9 years now, easily fired 9000 rounds. Every time family is over this gun gets pulled out and gets out to use, takes care of small game easily. Don't remember having a single issue with this, fires all types of 22lr no problem. I painted my front bead Orange, as was a little difficult to aim for distant shots. Definitely can'ts go wrong with this rifle, Ruger 10/22 is simply perfect.

I Love This GunCan't go wrong with a good ol 10/22, awesome accuracy, nice, traditional and natural feel (I have the wood stock). This is my go to gun for small game hunting and with a 3-9x40 scope it's even better.

good gun, bad accuracy.I got this gun and I took it out to get it zeroed, and I would say that it shot ok but could have been better. It is a very well made firearm and will not break easily. but as an ex comp shooter I was not getting the accuracy that I was getting out of some of my other .22s about 3' at 100 as aposed to 1' at 100. I know that in the end it is still accurate, but when I am in the field and I take a swing at a gopher at 170 yrds I would way rather have a 1' group than a 3' group. all in all it is a great gun in terms of quality, but the accuracy could use a little bit of work.

Love the Rifle Hate the MagiazinesWell. I. Purchased the 10-22 ka month or so ago and replaced the trigger with a lighter pull and polished it ago even get lighter. I got a fish scale with a hook on it and when I hook it on the trigger it takes 27 oz to break the trigger. I dont think i can get any better than that on trigger pull.
I refinished the stock and got lots of complements of the wood grain under the factory finish.
Finally took it to the range and the regular 10 red mag works fine I also purchased 6 other 10 rd mags and connected them together so I have 30 rd loaded 10 at a time.
Also got the 25 rd mag a got 4 of them They kept jamming and each time I noted that the bullet head was not clearing the front of the mag so I took my DREMMEL AND grinned down the back side where the firing cap is. It appears that the bullet angles up and will clear the front of the mag now. I ran a few rounds through the gun just be ejecting one rd after another it appears to be smooth and constant feed into the breach . Ill know more my next range trip, Rifle absolutely love and the 25 rd mags still may need some work

Great little gun.I knew these little guns had a great reputation prior to buying one and was not disappointed. I've put 1,000's of round through it and it's never let me down. My youngest is using it to learn to shoot right now.

10/22'sWell I have several and I personally think the quality has slipped just a bit over the years.
Rotary clips specifically, to stiffly sprung.
Will the 10/22 Ruger semi auto fire .22 HMR or WMR rounds without issues or is a different rifle specifically made for that bullet?
Asked by: Orest
Thank you for your question!
This particular variant of the 10/22, as well as the others on our website, is designed to fire .22 long rifle, and only this caliber; you will not be able to fire any other .22 caliber round through it safely, without risking compromising the rifle itself or injury to you.
In the past, Ruger made both a variant of the 10/22 chambered for .22 WMR, as well as the 10/17, chambering the .17 HMR round, although it appears neither model is currently in production. If you're interested in a variant in either caliber, your best bet is to either speak with Ruger directly, or your local gun shop and see if you can find a used model. Please keep in mind getting a non-standard 10/22 may mean you don't have as many customization options as the .22 long rifle version.

Ruger 10/22 Carbine Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle with Synthetic Stock
Is that clamp at the front of the forearm necessary? I want a basic rifle I can build a high grade target gun from, starting with a synthetic stock. Any better choices?
Asked by: Rego
Thank you for your question. The barrel band holds the barrel on more securely. Many of the parts on this rifle can be changed and upgraded.

I want to buy a ruger 10/22 plastic stock. How do I review your stocks
Asked by: Comanche Hunter
Thank you for your question!
We actually carry a few different 10/22 stocks, including our SKUs 2310921, 2009774, and 1815548. If you're looking for accessories for just the 10/22, you can search for that rifle on our website, and see the different variants and accessories we offer for it that way; if you just want to see what stocks we have in general, you can also just search the term "stock" and then use the options on the left side of the page to narrow your results.
I hope this information helps!

What's the difference between the synthetic stock in the wooden stock on the Ruger 10/22
Asked by: Robroy
Thank you for your inquiry. The wooden stocks of the Ruger 10/22 are made of real walnut, while the synthetic stocks are made of a hand-laid composite of materials such as fiberglass, Kevlar and graphite cloth which are saturated in an appropriate binder, then placed into a mold to set, or solidify.

can i put a bipod or scope on it without buying any rails
Asked by: guns and knives
Thank you for your question.
This rifle does include a scope base, so you'd just want to find rings which are compatible with it. As far as attaching a bipod goes, you'd just want to look for one compatible with a sling swivel stud, which this rifle also includes.
I hope this information helps!

Bass Pro Shops house scope brand "Persuit" 3x9 is awesome for this rifle! I originally thought it would be over kill for the rifle but was so wrong! It was the best purchase I made!!
