Poor designI will be returning the pack. I do not feel the straps are comfortable. The adjustable portions are too small.

Not what's picturedI ordered two of these for my brother and I, what arrived were two packs that are about 1/2 the size of what the picture looks like. They also only have one strap instead of two making it much more of a "sling"

Bit hit & missUnfortunately this bag hasnt hit the mark, which is disappointing as this is the third osprey bag i have purchased (all previous have been brillant). Am finding the harness uncomfortable when packed with any substantial weight, ie just grabbing a few things from supermarket on way home. And the most frustrating thing is it doesnt stand up by itself when u are trying to oack it so u have to lean it against something or hang off a chair. Will pkeep using it due to the cost it set me back but as an eveyday commuter bag it has its flaws to just bear in mind as id read a few reviews before purchasing.

Another winner from OspreyOsprey is the first company I have ever really had any kind of "brand loyalty" to. I own three Osprey bags now, and the sling is the latest. I'm about to take it on a long trip overseas as my everyday pack/ personal item and I can already tell I'm going to love it. Compact enough to to be comfortable to wear when full, it still holds everything I'll need to make my flight comfortable and it will fit easily under the seat. I really love that there are a few mesh compartments on the inside to keep certain items easily accessible. MY problem with other sling bags as always been that it's just one, awkward shaped compartment on the inside and everything slides to the bottom out of easy reach. The inner pockets help keep smaller items from slipping down.

Want to love this pack, but can'tBoth my husband and I have larger Osprey packs that we love. On a recent trip to a national park, I left my small day carry bag home, so was happy to see this Osprey in the park gift store. I was ok with the premium pricing because it was an Osprey. The pack is lightweight, has a great front pocket with an organizational space, and allows for plenty of storage for a daypack. However, when I cinch the shoulder straps up to where I want the pack to ride, the "handle" between the shoulder straps rubs against the back of my neck and is really uncomfortable. I end up loosening the shoulder straps and letting the back flop around a little to avoid this. Gave it to hubby to try and he had the same complaint.

Great Light weight Day hike pack , travel pack, do it allI have had this pack for about 5 years now and I absolutely love it. Works great for everything from short day hikes, to traveling, exploring various sites and musuems. Allows me to carry some snacks, binoculars, clothes, various gear for camping and hiking, whatever I may need for whatever adventure I go out that day for. I have also used it for cycling to carry a change of clothes, extra water, food, misc. gear. This is the perfect goto bag for doing whatever. not bulky, not heavy, super durable and incredibly comfortable even when completely stuffed with gear. easy to adjust so if your in a t shirt or a bulky jacket in seconds its fitting securely and comfortably. The side pockets for water bottles work great , have used bottles as simple as store bought plastic water bottles( Poland spring , etc. ) to 20oz insulated kleen canteen bottles with no worries.

Small Water Bottle PouchesVery lightweight and great for a short hike or a day trip. However, the water bottle pouches are very shallow and my water bottle has fallen out a few times. Disappointed, as Osprey is such a great brand. It's too late to return the pack now, so I will be purchasing a different one.
I am purchasing the Ospre day pack and am cinfused on the size of hydration pack to purchase with this pack. It is a gift

What is the height of the interior pocket? Or, better worded, what is the longest item that can be fit into the main pocket? I'm looking for a bag to transport my nerf blaster, one of which is 27 inches.

Thank you for your question! The overall height for the bag is 18"H.
