Smooth as satin/ quiet as a church mouse!There is nothing I don't like about this reel. Put a 350 # 5/6 on my 20 yr old 8' 6" Sage and the feel and balance are great. Just enough porting to give that classic look. The drag is very adjustable with good feel and feed back. Very positive smooth reeling in line retrieve with no bump or chunk. I like that there is virtually no characteristic loud clicking in the drag or retrieve (I like things quiet). I also got the black/gunmetal offered by Bass Pro but they don't offer extra spools. Contacted Cheeky and they will make the spool for you for the same price, I guess they just change out the gold hub cap for the gunmetal, gold was just to flashy for my traditional old man taste.
Using this reel for lrg and sml mouth bass trout and chain pickeral and it handles all comers. Very much worth checking out.

Great trout reelI got a Tyro 350 last summer for trout fishing up in New England and it has quickly become my favorite reel ever. Great drag, cool looking design, light weight with a great drag. I don't usually write reviews, but I really cold not be happier with this reel. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you Cheeky!

solid reel, great designI got a Tyro 350 last year for trout fishing up in New England last summer and I could not be happier with it. It's a lightweight but solid reel, nice design, and has a great drag. Not usually one to write reviews, but so glad I got this reel, and would recommend to all.

very goodcheekys entry level reel but still awesome. great bang for the buck. out competes my other more expensive reels. great drag. got a big fish on close the the shore/boat/yak? no problem, lock that drag down and do what you gotta do.

Great trout reel at a good pricePicked up a Tyro 350 several years ago and it's performed flawlessly. Frame is die cast but you wouldn't know looking at it, it has a beautiful finish, great drag, and a good price. Not much else you can ask for in a trout reel.

Strong Light and Plenty of DragThis little reel packs a punch. It is small and light but has enough stopping power to handle those trophy trout who live in small creeks. Great overall package and at this price it really can't be beat

How easy is this reel to change the retrieve form left to right hand retrieve
