Tougher than an angry bear and proven to keep ice frozen for days, Cabela's Polar Cap® Equalizer 25-Quart Cooler gives outdoorsmen serious performance over the long haul. Featuring a top-notch insulation-to-weight ratio, this 25-quart cooler's efficient, all-around foam insulation delivers great temperature control and ice retention without excessive weight. A freezer-grade gasket in the lid creates an airtight seal to help lock in cold temperatures even longer (holds ice up to 5 days). Incorporating molded padlock tabs into its rugged resin shell, this bear-resistant design allows you to securely lock contents inside the cooler. Barrel-shaped, rubberized T-handle latches ensure a tight, secure seal, and feature integrated bottle openers for convenience. Elevated, non-skid feet reduce heat transfer between the cooler and whatever surface you place it on, increasing insulating efficiency. Molded-in handles and a molded-in hinge with aluminum connecting rods enhance durability for years of reliable performance. Integrated pressure-release valve for easier lid opening. Dolly-pin latch retainer for use with optional dolly. Dimensions: 26"Lx17"Wx17.5"H. Wt: 18 lbs. Made in USA.

Best Cooler in the market!I have owned many coolers in the past and i can tell you that so far, this is the best one i have ever seen. I brought it to camping trip with my family in Florida and the ice last for a long time in the hot/humid weather. My wife loves it, even though she had a hard time to open it up sometimes. You won't regret it.

The bestI have had my 100qt since Cabela's switched from grizzly and started using these. I have a yeti, as well as some other brands. The Cabela's is hands down the best. I just ordered another 100qt before I submitted this review. A bigger one might be nicer, but you have to realize when you fill up a 150, 200 etc, you cannot move them. These you can still move around when they are full. To all the people who are writing bad reviews on ice retention, you have to use a sacrificial bag of ice the day before you use it, otherwise all your new ice will melt.

Great coolerAs with all the reviews seen, this cooler does not disappoint. Be sure to check some of the moldings as the holes dont line up as expected with the optional wheels but overall retention and quality was evident even if the QC wasn't at 100%, I was pleasantly surprised by the coolers capability.

Awesome cooler!I did lots of research before I bought this cooler and kept coming back to this one! I bought the 80qt for our family of 4 and I think it’s about the perfect size. This cooler is really well built and has lots of great features. 12 day ice retention is amazing!

A little heavy. But it out preformed my other ice chests in testing. Haven't used it on a hunt yet but since most big game hunts are 5 days long it should perform well.

Great True 60 quart cooler.I pre-cooled the cooler with 2-16.9 oz ice bottles and one quart ice jug for 10hrs after removing from 110* garage. Not even cooling it down near like recommended. I put 34 bud light, 20-16.9 oz bottles of water and 12-12oz G2 gatorade in it. The gatorade were room temp when installed and I was able to squeeze almost 20 lbs of very large tubular chunks of ice in it. I’d say probably 18 lbs or a little more. With it in the bed of my Chevy I drove to the farm south of Lubbock Tx from Amarillo on the flat terrain we started real life testing it. This was Friday noon in 96* temp. We opened it about 20 times in 90* weather with a 12-15 mph wind across the cooler that day. Saturday temp was in mid 90’s and 10-15 mph wind. We opened it over 50 times and some of the time to get ice out for drinks. We pulled about 2-3lbs of ice out of it. Every time it was opened it was like a hot hair dryer across the ice and drinks. Some openings for people just to admire it. On Sunday it was still in the bed of my pickup and was only opened about 6-8 times but temps were back to low 90’s and breeze to 15-20 mph. I drove home after lunch and drained water off. I put it in my garage with only a couple water and gatorade left. On Monday morning there was still ice and the garage was still about 80* inside. I checked it monday evening and there was very little ice left but my temp gun showed the water bottles at 46*. That was the end of test. So you can draw your own conclusions but in my igloo or Coleman 40 qrt neither woulda had ice even half way through Saturday. The cooler has zero imperfections inside or out. Everything is smooth with no sharp spots. I love the big molded handles and only used the ropes once to try them. They’re solid. The big rubber hold downs don’t stink like china rubber and are very strong. You can kinda twist and rock them and they release very easy. We didn’t latch them every time between getting beverages out. I laugh every time I see tests done on coolers by opening them 3 times a day. Who does that. With beer, water and Gatorade in a large crowd this cooler stayed open more than closed and remember that not all 20 lbs fit and about 2-3 lbs got removed for mixed drinks. The rule is 2-1. 2 times the ice to beverages. Sorry but I’d have to buy a 150 qrt for doing this. This is real world testing. It lasted 3-1/2 days of that in hot breezy weather. Granted if everything woulda been used out it woulda been 3 days probably This is a very good cooler and I’ll buy another size if needed. I’ll run a side by side test against any other cooler in the same conditions and guarantee theirs won’t do any better. Ive been around Competitors enough to know it needs ice after a day on a polaris 6 seater and 6 guys in and out of it in 95* weather in Texas south plains. This is an Awesome Cooler.

Good coolerIt’s a good cooler better than what I had but didn’t hold ice anywhere close to the number of days that I saw a demonstration for it.
