30 plus years hunting with bowsCountless hours shooting and hunting with dozens of different bows, this bow is by far the best all around bow I have shot. Fast , lite, accurate and dependable. And if you are in the Kodak Tn. Store, see skeeter. Great guy.

TrustedI bought this bow along with the blackout x5 arrows and the blackout release.( I switched to Easton arrows shortly after) This bow makes me look was better at archery than I really am. Since I got the Easton arrows and this set up I have begun to have to aim at different targets with each shot to avoid nocking the fletchings off. My only problem is the lack of information on the strings lengths for replacement as the string does stretch. But add some vapor trail strings and your in great shape.

Excellent bowThis is the first compound bow that i purchased to get into the sport. Shoots fast, hard and accurate.. So far so good, i enjoy shooting it and for the price i think its worth it! It could use maybe another arrow rest and sight but what it comes with is ok!

awesome bowI got this bow to replace a Matthews couldn't be more pleased contrary to other reviews you don't need drop away rest the rest in package is perfect the only item I found lacking was the sight for a bow this good and at this price its far below level needed as far as shooting this bow is by far above those overpriced bows that are more name this is a sweet shooting bow it does have shallow valley that you will get used after few shots

Great BowLet me start off by saying I would give this bow 4.5 stars if I could. I bought this bow about 3 months ago and have put ~750 shots downrange. This is a great bow, with a rock solid back wall. It is accurate with the stock equipment and even more so with a drop rest. Affordable and great wear. It feels the same shooting as the day I bought it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the quiver that came with mine had a manufacturing defect that did not allow the quiver to lock into place as it should. I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue, so I think I got the one bad one in a million! That being said, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the bow itself and I would do it all over again!

Best bow BPS carriesI bought the RH 60-70# camo S3 last December so I had plenty of time to get it tuned before next season. I've put ~750 arrows through it, and it still feels like it did from day 1. I put a trophy ridge Cypher 5, Beestinger 6" stabilizer w/ 3" extension and quick detach, and a QAD LD rest on. With this setup I will not have to buy another bow for many many years. I'm shooting full length Carbon Express PileDriver Hunter 350's and at 60lbs they chrono at 268FPS, very respectable when the arrow is 550 grains! The only thing you really need to change is the rest, go drop away or full whisker, the sight and stabilizer are very nice. I just had the stuff I put on from a previous bow I sold. The red/white cock feather arrows are mine, that group was @ 30 yards after 90ish arrows, and it is still right about 6". I had 4 arrow groups under 3" earlier in the day.

Loving the Bow!I've had the bow for about 6 months, and have taken a lot of shots. I love the speed, accuracy, quietness, and cams. The only thing that could improve is it's a bit "jumpy." When holding draw for an extended period, or if you challenge your draw weight, you need to be aware of this. For the money it is a 10!

70 lb Black Out S3I've seen reviews that state the bow is too jumpy if you relax at all with it. 1st off, it's true this bow does not have a valley to hold during the draw. Well, you don't need the valley. All you need is a proper draw length and the proper length release. I use a shorter hook style release that also helps with accuracy. Try it and you will see the "jumpy" problem solved. This thing has a SOLID back wall. The bow only comes with one draw stop even though it is a binary cam system. I think it should have two, to ensure proper synchronization in the cams but I called Bowtech and they assured me the other draw stop is not needed. Next, this bow is FAST! The IBO is 338 fps but mine maxed out at 73.5 lbs which makes it IBO 345. I like the quiver that comes with the bow however the color should match the camo rather then just throwing a black one in there. The sight is not bad as the pins are bright and the apeture aligns with the 3/16 carbon peep that is installed but I will be replacing the sight with a sturdier one because this one WILL break at some point. The Octane hostage rest is ok also but like the sight, it too will be replaced. There's no way that a 345 fps bow should not have a drop away rest installed on it!
I gave it 5 stars because you cannot beat the price for essentially a Bowtech bow. Sure there are some "high end" flagship bows out there but this bow has everything that you need without having to get too fanatical about it. I bought this bow as a back up to my Bowtech Destroyer because it is essentially the same thing minus the Overdrive yoke cam system and the torque reducing flex rod but this thing has a nice draw, a rock solid back wall for an incredible hold and is blazing fast. This thing is also SILENT at the shot, especially with some tie on APEX string silencers but heck, those things aren't even needed to be honest. Make sure you shoot the proper spine arrow.
Oh, don't mind the bow tech's that they have working in the archery section. Like most of them, they "know everything" and are eager to prove it so they are not very good active listeners but don't let that deter you.

Would like to equip this bow with different sights and rest.... is the bow ONLY offered in a package or can I purchase the bow only?
Asked by: Steve46260
Only in the package and would recommend changing rest the day of purchase to a whisker biscuit. The sight is decent but I did replace it for an adjustable sight.
