This rifle features a 10-53 dated Springfield Armory barrel with a few spots of light oxidation on the lands in an otherwise bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this mid 1950s production rifle retain about 85-90% arsenal gray-green Parkerized finish with light wear on high edges and contact points. The pistol grip walnut stock is in very good condition as lightly cleaned with two spots on the toe and heel now devoid of the dark finish present on the rest of the stock, some scattered light dings and handling marks,
