For your consideration is an early Weatherby custom FN Mauser Left-Hand Bolt Action Rifle chambered in 300 Weatherby Mag. Built on a 1951-dated action, this early rifle is equipped with the wheel or dial-style bolt release mechanism. The bore on this rifle is in excellent condition, The metal surfaces retain about 97-98% Weatherby high polish blue showing some scattered light handling marks and a bit of light oxidation along the bolt handle. The checkered pistol grip walnut stock remains in near excellent condition showing a few sparsely scattered light handling marks and some areas of slightly worn gloss finish. The underside of the action and barrel beneath the stock are numbered matching "8934" with the FN marking, date and Belgian proof marks also present beneath the wood line.
