Colt ~ Single Action Army (Denise Thirion Engraved) ~ .45 Colt

This engraved Colt Single Action Army revolver is chambered in .45 Colt. The serial number (SA09469) suggests that the revolver was produced in 1978. Beautifully prepared and polished at the Colt Custom Gun Shop, the frame and barrel are plated in rich sterling silver and the screws, trigger, cylinder pin, and ejector rod head have been finished with fire bluing. Specially commissioned by Jim Alaimo, it is emblazoned with amazingly detailed engravings from the tip of the barrel to the backstrap. Intricate cowboy themed etchings of various old west symbols such as cowboy hats, cowboy boots, leather bags and other recognizable imagery associated with the western theme. In addition to the illustrations, the gun has many fillagree patterns engraved on all the visible metal pieces. These deluxe engravings were done by Denise Thirion and her signature (The letters DT) can be seen on the frame. In addition to the beautiful engravings, this piece features pearlescent grips. This item comes with a blue Colt collector's box and letter signed by Mr. Alaimo detailing the history of the revolver. A truly unique and one-of-a-kind piece.
