Description
Marlin Model 1897 Take-down Lever action rifle chambered in .22 S, L, LR. It features a 24" Octagon barrel, straight grip stock, and a steel tubular magazine under the barrel. Two-Line with name, address and patent on top of barrel. Blade front sight and rear adjustable notch sight. Case Colored receiver. Hard rubber butt plate. This is a takedown version and has a large takedown screw on the receiver's right side. This screw had an oversize flat-head slot you could twist with coins.
