The serial number is 1545077 and it was manufactured in 1949. The .32 Winchester Special cartridge is necked down from the .38-55 Winchester cartridge of 1884. It has ballistics similar to the .30-30 cartridge but the larger diameter bullet of the .32 WS will create a larger wound.
