Fabrique Nationale ~ Belgian Mauser ~ .270 Win

This excellent condition FN Mauser bolt action rifle chambered in .270 Winchester was manufactured in the early 1960s and features Belgian proofs on the barrel and action with matching serials on each as well. It sports a 24-inch Chrome Vanadium steel heavy barrel which has a bore with crisp clean rifling, a vintage Stith see through scope mount on the receiver, flip up rear iron sight integrated into the Stith mount, a Monte Carlo wood stock with fine checkering cut on the wrist and forearm. The excellent condition wood stock has a light oil finish, plastic capped pistol grip, and the barrel and receiver have the original blued finish which retains 98% of it finish, with very few blemishes or typical signs of use. The action is very smooth, the bolt locks up solid, and trigger is firm and has a very crisp break. Overall not just a great collectors rifle, but also a great shooters gun.
