Description
This Luger is a toggle lock recoil operated semi-automatic pistol in 9mm Luger Cal. It has a 7 7/8-inch barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable notch rear sight. The grip is a diamond checkered hardwood. Adopted in 1913 by the Imperial German Army initially for use by Artillery units, but later adopted by other specialty units on the Western Front in the First World War. The pistol appears to have all matching serial numbers with a stamped initial manufacture date of 1915.
