Anschutz 1517 Target Rifle chambered in .17 HMR. ANSCHÜTZ repeating rifles offer wonderfully crafted, extremely precise rimfire rifles for competition or for hunting small game and predators. With low noise, high precision, and minimal damage to the game or pelt, they are well suited for more urban areas. Features a 23-inch medium weight barrel and Model 64 action. This is a bolt action with cam cocking and claw extractor. Telescopic sight mounting is by an 0.43" wide ANSCHÜTZ Wave Style V-block dovetail rail or by additional drilled and tapped holes. The sliding safety catch on the right-hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position and simultaneously lifts the trigger sear and bolt release latch. The bolt can also be opened in the safe position, allowing unloading the firearm with the safety engaged. It features a removeable four round magazine.
