Weatherby ~ Mark V ~ .375 H&H Magnum

Introduced by Roy Weatherby in 1958, the Mark V action was engineered to be the strongest bolt action in the world. Roy wanted to develop a high-quality, accurate, and powerful rifle for hunting that could handle the high chamber pressures associated with newer big and dangerous game cartridges. The locking lugs on the Mark V action differ from traditional designs as they are separated and stacked, creating more surface area and a positive lock up over conventional solid lug designs at the time. The result is a maximum lug contact and still one of the strongest actions on the market. This pre-owned big game hunting rifle is chambered in .375 H&H Magnum and is in very good condition, and includes the mounted Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x50mm scope, sling and soft rifle case.
