Ruger ~ AR-556 ~ 5.56 NATO

The Ruger AR-556 MPR is a full length rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a rifle length gas system. This is a great base platform to set up a competition rifle on a budget. It features a Magpul stock and grip. The free-floating handguard features enough Mlok slots for attachments and a continuous Picatinny rail. A 30 port muzzle break of Ruger's own design replaces the standard A2 birdcage flash hider and reduces felt recoil. Instead of a Mil-spec GI trigger, this AR-556 is equipped with a Ruger Elite 452 that has a trigger pull of 4.5 pounds. This rifle is being sold without magazines, original case or box.
