Simson Suhl SXS in 20 Gauge. This is a Boxlock, hammerless, top-break, side by side with double triggers, cocking indicators, and extractors. It has a concave rib with a single brass bead. The right barrel is marked "spezial-gewehrlaufstahl". The left barrel marked "Simson Suhl". The case-hardened finished receiver has scroll engraving. The barrel length is 26 3/4 Inch with fixed chokes "Full/Improved Modified". The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut, capped pistol grip, straight comb, cheekpiece, checkered black hard rubber Simson buttplate and a sling swivel in the belly (the other is mounted to the bottom rib forward of the forend). The metal and wood are excellent with only very minor handling marks.
