Simson Suhl is a Boxlock, hammerless, top-break, side by side with double triggers, cocking indicators, and ejectors. It has a concave rib with a single white bead. The right barrel is marked "spezial-gewehrlaufstahl". The left barrel marked "Simson Suhl" and "Made in GDR". The coin finished receiver has decorative game scene engravings. The barrel length is 28" with fixed chokes "Full/Full". The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with splinter forend, capped pistol grip, straight comb, cheekpiece, checkered black hard rubber Simson buttplate and a sling swivel in the belly (the other is mounted to the bottom rib forward of the forend). The metal and wood are excellent with only very minor handling marks.
