The 75 Compact features a steel alloy frame, and a slightly shorter barrel and frame. The compact pistol still uses double-stack magazines for maximum firepower. A manual thumb safety blocks the firing pin, allowing the pistol to be carried "cocked and locked" with the hammer cocked and the safety engaged.
