Description
Mauser P38 semiautomatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Occupied in April 1945 by the French Army, the Mauser factory was contracted to continue producing P38 pistols for the French military. Wartime production of "SVW" P38s concluded with serial number 3000 in the f-block. This pistol's serial number (8064h) suggests that it was produced in Summer 1945. The barrel assembly has a Waffenamt (WaA135) stamp on the left side, while also having a post war serial number (2376h). The rest of the components are not WaA-marked. The right side of the slide does have the French 5-sided star acceptance mark. Does not appear to be import marked. Comes with two 7-round magazines and an unmarked holster.
