Savage Arms ~ Model 755A ~ Semi Auto Shotgun ~ 12 Gauge

This Savage Arms Model 755A semi auto shotgun in 12 gauge is in good condition, especially since it was manufactured in 1951. The blued barrel and receiver frame are good with about 60% finish remaining. The receiver frame is still showing a faint wildlife scene on the sides and imprinted scrolls on the top of the receiver frame. The blued 28" barrel is very good with a bright shiny bore. This Savage shotgun is heavy with a weight of nearly 9 pounds to help absorb the 12 gauge recoil. The trigger is firm with a crisp positive release. The checkered dark walnut stock and fore end are good with various nicks and dings from 70 years of use and handling. The black plastic butt plate seems to stick out a bit over the butt stock, which may be from sanding. This is a nice survivor Savage shotgun overall. This Model 755A does not come with a box or any other accessories.
