Winchester ~ 74 ~ .22 LR

This rimfire semi-automatic rifle is a Winchester Repeating Arms Co Model 74 chambered in .22 Short. It has a top-of-the-receiver safety slide switch, a fixed silver beaded blade front sight, an adjustable top-of-barrel rear sight, the original Winchester Repeating Arms checkered steel butt plate with the port for the tube magazine, and a fat, round fore arm. The barrel shows some loss of bluing throughout, particularly at the muzzle with some apparent rust and freckling observable. The wood butt stock shows some normal handling marks and wear throughout but with no observable cracks or chips.
