Colt Single Action Army chambered in .44 Winchester Center Fire (.44/40). The serial number (97033) dates the revolver to 1883. The revolver features a 7-1/2-inch barrel and remnants of a blued finish. The left side of the barrel has an etched panel with "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" engraved in the panel. The included factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, and finish. The gun was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, MO on 15 August 1883.
