VMC Wacky Weedless Hooks
Great hook for Wacky Rig
I've caught a boat load of bass in the past 1 1/2 years on a wacky rig. This is by far, the hook that I use the most. It performs just as advertised. I can throw it in weedy or grassy areas or matted areas where there is an opening. It works great in open water as well. I can't think of any bass that I lost when using this hook. What makes it even greater, is that it's less expensive than the competition. I see that it's currently on sale, so I gotta go get some in the 2/0 size. Buy them, you will not be disappointed.

Best weedless hook I've ever used for wacky rigging. I suggest the 1/0 for 3"- 5" senko type worms. No way to prevent fine vegetation (hair algae) from getting caught on the eyelet area of the hook, but definitely stops you from getting caught up on heavy vegetation. Have not had an issue with hookset. Weedguard is extremely flexible and actually helps hold the hook in the fishes mouth once it's set!!! I had more problems getting th ehook out of the fishes mouth than I did getting caught up in vegetation.

VMC Weedless Wacky Hook
For the price, these hooks are good for wacky rigging. The only thing I have negative to say about these hooks is the weed guard. It is very stiff and you must bend it just right on the hook to have good hooksets.Don't use them right out of the package until you adjust the weedguard or you will be very disappointed when you get a strike. The trokar weedless wacky hooks are sooo much better, just cost more, but these will get the job done.

This hook is sharp, but it is impossible to catch any fish! The weed guard is not flexible at all. I was fishing some flooded brush with a Bass Pro Stick-O worm and a good sized fish (maybe over 5 lbs) was lost because the weed guard did not move and kept the hook covered.
