Catch and Release
Sufix Elite Monofilament will stretch, which is great for topwater or suspending type baits. It is not as abrasion resistant as Fluorocarbon.
Sufix Fluorocarbon will not stretch like mono, and will help your baits sink. It's lack-of-visibility helps when you're dealing with spooky fish, but it's not recommended for topwater.
If you're fishing cover and structure, Fluoro will be more durable. Personally, I have used Sufix Mono in cover and have had great success because I prefer monofilament over any other type of line.
Good luck out there!
The mono has very little memory, and has outperformed any other mono that I've ever used.
The pricing is great, has very low visibility, and is strong. I even use it when I'm cranking and fishing around cover. I haven't had to use fluorocarbon yet, and I thank Sufix for such a great line.
Going to try 14 -pound test on my xps baitcasters next season.
I've used Stren for 14 years.
