Great Monofilament Line Stren Monofilament line is a great fishing line. It has good knot strength and I have been able to tie a variety of different knots that hold. Stren does not have the tendency to get line memory after sitting on the reel for a while. September 17, 2011
GOLDEN STREN I've used this line for 25 yrs.I do a lot of worm fishing and have this line on every pole I have. People say it deters fish because of the color, but I'll still catch as many or more.,,whether spinner baits, crankbaits, etc are used. April 20, 2011
The ONLY Line for Night Fishing!!! I used to fish ProAm Bass tournaments in the southwest...and during the summer it is way to hot to spend 8-10 hours a day chucking and winding in the bright sun...so they were always scheduled at night. The first thing you learn in competitive night fishing is to simplify your game...everything is at least twice as hard (or more) at night. From lure selection to tying knots to having to "feel" where you cast more than see it...every little advantage you can give yourself may make the difference between finishing in the money and paying money to fish. The Stren Clear/Blue Fluorescent line glows like a neon sign in the dark even when using small black lights....and then turns invisible in the water...so you can see the least little movement when those Hawgs just vacuum up your bait and keep swimming without so much as a tap on your line. Go ahead and try and tie a clinch, uni, palomar, rapala or snell knot with your eyes closed...because without that bright light coming off of your line at night...it is about the same thing. Bottom line: Once you have fished with it...your will never night fish without it again. April 17, 2011
Best Line for Carp fishing This is the best line I have ever used for Carp fishing. Stands up to even the 20 and 30 pound carp that I have caught without the line breaking. Tough and durable and have recomended it to other friends as the line to buy. It also works great for walleye fishing as I use it for that too. Great buy for the money March 9, 2011
