Streamlight® Waypoint™ Pistol-Grip LED Spotlight
I love this light. We use it on the boat and the range is much better than expected. It also has a sturdy feel to it. The best part is after 5 days of night hunting gators I'm still on the first set of batteries. I was prepared to change batteries every night but didn't need to. The rechargeable lights never make it through a night.

Pistol grip LED spotlight
This spotlight puts out an incredible beam that reaches out well over 1/2 mile. I contemplated on buying the big bulky 10,000,000 candle light spotlight, but the charge wears down so fast. This spotlight delivers more than advertised and is perfect for security, emergencies or on your boat on the water at night. Well worth the money!

Trust me, LED is the way to go! This is my first LED Spotlight and worth the extra money. I beam reached out around 150 with clarity. It's small and compact and light for little hands to use. I was concerned about battery life but it was not a problem for me for the amount I use the spotlight. Half the time with my older spots the rechargeable battery would stop working after a year. Great Light!

Not sure of the CP equivalent, but there are some websites with the conversion factors listed. Some have where you can insert the values into a formula. Just look for "lumen to candlepower conversion."
