EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT I needed a quick and easy fix for worn bushings and these fit the bill. Oarlock brackets were on a 1950 15 foot aluminum fishing boat and I think original equipment. Drilled out the old and inserted the new. Easy!! May 7, 2012
great product great product and works well, just didn,t like the long shipping time! May 30, 2011
Simple, but effective I didn't even know these things existed, or that I needed them, until they were suggested when I ordered oarlocks. They are simple, straightforward and they work. November 6, 2010
Fills a need I bought this product because the WestMarine stocked oarlocks do not offer replacement socket bushing sets. So I had to purchase the WestMarine cast bronze oarlocks to get new socket bushings. Not cost effective. I "assumed" the SeaSense socket bushings would be meeting some industry standard for dimensions. And perhaps they do. But one or the other is out of tolerance. The SeaSense socketbushings fit loosely in the WestMariner oarlocks, while the original (white) WestMarine socket bushings are a snug fit. I continue to experiment to attempt to get a snug fit instead of having the bushing hop out - oh by the way, they sink immediately. They are a great idea, they fill a need and I am glad to see them on the market. Thanks for carrying them. May 3, 2010
