RedHead Trekker Low Trail Shoes for Men
Worst Hiking Shoe Ever
After two pairs -with the first pair being returned as defective due to wearing out along the sides near the toe , the second pair is doing the same thing without hard use. Although the shoe fits nicely and feels comfortable it is NOT very durable and I would worry if I were to use it in a hiking situation.

Comfortable shoe...NOT waterproof though!
Living in the Scotland, waterproof shoes are kind of a necessity.
So while in Canada visiting friends and family, I thought I'd shop around for a much needed new pair of waterproofs.
Found these on sale and the price was phenomenal, especially compared to what I'd pay for similar pair back in the UK.
Wel....I should have paid more for a pair when I got back home. These shoes are comfortable enough, but there's no way they should be advertised as waterproof. The first bit of rain and my feet were wet.
If you're looking for a decent pair of shoes for kicking around town or in the country, these will fit the bill. If you want to keep your feet dry...I wouldn't recommend them.

Comfy but disposable?
I was leery after some of the other reviews I had read but several of the experienced summer camp staffers told my son they really liked these shoes. I bought them on sale for $29 and they lasted a month! I ordered a second pair before he told me the first pair blew out the side. If he were not 2 hours away working at camp with no car I would return them. Since I know they fit him and were comfortable I will go ahead with the second pair but next summer when he goes to work camp we will invest in a pair of Merrels or something higher quality. Too bad because I am a frequent Bass Pro shopper for the entire family :(

Almost but not quite...
I found the Redhead Trekker Low Hiker to be a very comfortable shoe, nice and lightweight on the foot, I kind of forgot it was there to be honest. The tread was perfect and the shoe is kind of like going barefoot just with good tread on the bottoms of your feet.
Now, the bad side and there is only one real bad thing to say but it kills the whole thing. They do not last. I have owned two pair and neither one lasted longer than about 6 months!
I loved the shoe but, even at the low price offered by Bass Pro, it is not worth the money. Paying nearly $40 for this twice, I could almost buy a much better Merrell. I find this funny since Merrell was supposed to have made these for Bass Pro but they simply do not last the same.
Both times mine split along the tops, in the fabric between the leather strips. Just FYI.
