RedHead Trailhead Cargo Shorts for Men
Really like the overall appearance and fit of the shorts but there is a serious design defect so I sent my three pairs back for a refund.
Read in the forum of a guy whose back pocket ripped off. I ignored it and bought 3 pair.
All three within 30 days ripped on the back pocket area.
At the bottom corners of the back pockets is where the pockets are attached to the shorts. This means all the pressure of your body while you get into and out of cars pulls on the pocket corners. So the pockets rip a small hole in the cloth of the shorts.
Mine was left pocket of all shorts and both bottom corners of pocket.

I like these a lot for the looks and the comfort, but after 2 months, the back of the pants tore at the bottom corners of the rear pockets. At one corner there is a 1 inch tear and the other three corners you can see the material beginning to come apart. This appears to be a common defect because the pockets are made woith a sharp 90 degree corner. I am taking them back, but I don't expect them to help as it is past 30 day return policy, but I would not recommend anyone buy these because it is obvious that they will all tear at the same corners. I am surprised that there are no more complaints about this problem. I have other brands that are built better because the corners of the pockets are cut at 45 degrees instead of the 90 degrees. I also have worn cheaper brands of shorts for two years before experiencing any wear, or tears.

These run on the small size and then they shrink so I'd get one size larger than you measure. The soft cotton is very comfy for long wear and the pocket size is perfect. Not so large as to feel like your carrying two backpacks on your legs but a good size to carry whats' needed, like a descent size fly box.

Nice-looking shorts. Like the pockets and their placement. I do not like the fit. When I pull them up to where I normally wear my shorts...the crotch is too short. From the button to the bottom of the zipper, needs to be at least 2 inches longer to be comfy. So, I like the looks of them, but hate the fit. It's too tight in the crotch! And I talk in a higher voice when I sit down. I doubt I'll wear these very much at all. Unless I'm planning on standing up all the time.
