Thriving on ultra-high velocity loads, Nosler® Ballistic Tip® Varmint Bullets deliver the ballistic performance you want when picking off troublesome varmints. Every bullet features a streamlined polycarbonate tip (color-coded by caliber) that delivers consistent trajectory and accuracy. An ultra-thin jacket mouth around the tip assures violent expansion for deadly efficiency, while the jacket's heavy base prevents deformation during firing. In between, a gradual thickening of the jacket wall at the bullet's mid-section keeps the Ballistic Tip Varmint bullet together until impact at any velocity. Nosler's Solid Base® boat-tail design works with the bullet's special tip to dramatically increases long-range efficiency. Minimum impact velocity: 1600 fps.
Built for ultra-high velocity performance
Polycarbonate tip for superior ballistic performance - color coded by caliber
Ultra-thin jacket mouth for violent explosion
Heavy base prevents deformation at firing
Gradual thickening of the jacket wall in the midsection keeps bullet together until impact
Boat-tail bullet design works with tip to increase long-range efficiency and accuracy
Conducted my own testing with these and the hornady zombie bullets and hands down noslers were tighter grouping and easier seating! It's worth the extra $

coyote head shot at 80 yards
Shot a coyote right between the eyes at 80 yards with this bullet. I will never give out my load data, but I will say if you find a great load, dont change. You will wish you had not. I was going to change the powder but decided to try it anyway because it was a hot load. Coyote just dropped dead.

After shooting Ballistic Tips for years in my deer rifle with great success, I had to try these varmint bullets. My Remington 700 SPS Varmint rifle showed promise with factory ammo, but I knew some good .223 handloads using the 55gr NBT bullets should deliver the accuracy I knew the rifle was capable of. I was not to be let down. After working up a load using H-4895 I am getting 3200fps and 1/2" five shot groups at 100 yds. The boattail design mekes for easy loading. The polymer tip allows explosive performance out past 300yds. I'm sold on these bullets.
